September traditionally brings the start of a new wedding fayre season in the UK and this year promises to be bigger & better than ever!
Last weekend saw us exhibit at two fabulous and very different venues - The Emirates Durham Cricket Ground with Wedding Pages, and Kirkley Hall, Ponteland.

The Wedding Pages Durham Wedding Show was held in the large, modern function room at The Emirates Stadium which has fabulous views over the cricket ground  with Lumley Castle in the distance. It was brimming with some of the finest wedding service providers in the area, including By Wendy, of course, and was very well attended despite serveveral other fayres taking place on the same day in the locality.

Over in Northumberland we had a stand at the beautiful, Grade 2 listed, Kirkley Hall, just outside Ponteland. This beautiful venue has all the elegance & charm of a small stately home making it a very romantic setting for weddings.

If you couldn't make it to these fayres, don't worry, we'll be at the Novotel, Kingston Park with Wedding Pages again on sunday (3rd october) and photographs from our Kirkley Hall exhibition have just been added to our albums!

We've spent the last month in the USA and have come back brimming with ideas for new stationery designs.

Our new designs will be on show at The Great North Wedding Show @ The Hilton Gateshead on 24th October.

Wow! What a week we've had! At last we have finished our summer production but it has been hectic as we've had so many last minute orders coming in throughout the summer, on top of the ones we already had booked.

Not that we are complaining, of course, we love a challange and we got just that with Janice & John's fabulous stationery.

We made their bespoke pocket invitations way back in April using the beautiful gold regalia patterned card from Envelopments (TM) and burgundy accents.

They loved them so much they asked us to produce all of their on the day stationery using the same colours, including a table plan, framed Order of the Day, table numbers & menus, ladies' favour place settings, gentlemen's favour lotto card holder place settings, guest books and a 3-tier cardboard Wedding Cake!

So what did the bride & groom think?

They loved them. Their only complaint was that their guests loved the invitations so much they refused to send back the RSVP as they wanted to keep the whole pocket fold intact. Oh, if I only had a pound for every time I hear that...

Here at 'By Wendy Bespoke Stationery, Favours & Wishing Trees' we have been run off our feet aver the last few weeks preparing 'on the day' stationery for all our summer brides.
