Pronuptia Newcastle Runs the Bupa Great North Run for Charity
By MIA SPOSA BRIDAL and MENSWEAR
Pronuptia Newcastle's owner is
running in this years most iconic half marathon on the planet, the 30th
BUPA Great North Run on Sunday 19th September.
Pronuptia Newcastle will be running for the Breast Cancer
Campaign.
Breast Cancer Campaign's mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
The Bupa Great North Run is more than an excuse to take part in a world class race – it’s an exciting, exhilarating (some might say, exhausting!) way to join an elite team of Campaign supporters known as Linford’s All Stars. Led by Olympian and all-round sports star, Linford Christie, the All Stars are a thrill-seeking, hard working, determined team who want to make a real difference to the 46,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK.
We are running in the 30th Bupa great North Run on Sunday 19th September 2010. Our runner is owner Mark Dowell who is running for Breast Cancer Campaign Charity. You will be helping us to fund innovative world-class research across the UK and Ireland, making a significant impact on Breast cancer for the benefit of the patients.

Updos
By Annieadmin
Why is it that every bride today seems to go for the 'updo'
hairstyle on her big day? It occurs to me that not everyone
actually suits it, yet regardless of hair type, face shape or
indeed standard of hairdresser, the majority of brides still seem
to want it.
Now don't get me wrong, I do like an updo (see
video) if it's done properly and if it suits the person's
face it can look beautiful. What I think is a little silly, is
when it's taken as the 'norm' for ALL brides without looking into
other options.
Some hairdressers are less than
practiced in good updos. They don't do them on a daily basis and
some will give you a style more resembling a poodles topknot than
a classy hairstyle.
And where should you put the veil and headdress? It often
ends up plonked beneath the 'bun' and out of sight and reach
of the bride. You see brides who are trying to get a hold of
their veil from round the back to try to place it stylishly
accross their shoulders only to end up looking like a dog
chasing it's tail when they cant find it!
Anyway, my point is, just think
through the options more carefully, don't just listen to your
haridresser without trying out a few other styles first. An updo
is the easy option for them, but it might end up spoiling your
big day if it all goes wrong!
